Greenhill's
light and airy Infant Section is full of busy, happy children.
Their confidence grows as we broaden their horizons, set them
new challenges and praise the progress they make.
The
Infant section has its own identity and ethos as well as its own
building and facilities. It consists of Nursery, Pre-Primary and
lower primary ( primary one and two). We handle children between
the ages of 3– 8 years. In our purpose-built classrooms the emphasis
is on providing a sound basis for your child's education.
At
Greenhill we believe that education is about far more than just
academic success. Thought must be given to the physical and cultural
development of all pupils in order to ensure that they are provided
with the care they need. Only then can they become thoughtful
and considerate adults.
Infant
section pupils also benefit from the facilities in the Senior
and Primary School and as a result have an insight into how their
educational career will progress in the future. Physical education
is done twice a week and swimming once during morning hours. Other
programmes the school offers in the afternoons for enjoyment,
relaxation and aid to learning are watching video, listening to
radio education tapes, Art and crafts, playing with toys and music.
Parents should have keen interest and get involved in their children's
learning. They feel attended to when we/you spare some little
time to listen and, read, tell a story or express their feelings.
Greenhill Academy aims to achieve this goal through complete education.
